April, 2022, Director of Photography and Cinematographer Jendra Jarnagin joins the podcast to talk about working on the full length feature film "Asking For It" and the journey she took from a suburban town in Rhode Island, to film school at NYU, to working as an electrician on shows like Sex and the City and Law and Order, to finding her own voice as a cinematographer and DP and building the career she is known for today. During our conversation Jendra talks about how a middle school mentor helped her have the confidence to chase her creative dreams, the challenges that women have on film sets and in the industry in general, what it's like trying to film an action movie on a smaller budget, and the advice she gives to others with dreams of one day making their own movie.
